The Taiwan Tower Symbolises The Spirit Of Taiwan

Portuguese architect firm OODA Architecture together with the Spanish and American studio OOIIO, have designed and proposed a stunning 350 meters tall tower “The Taiwan Tower”, for the city of Taichung, that symbolizes the spirit of Taiwan. This star shaped tower combines Taiwan's diamond industry with the Eiffel Tower and traditional origami, while the shape reflects Taiwan's star-shaped flag.

The Taiwan Tower is designed to utilize sustainable energy and the building includes offices, museum, conference center, fitness, sky lobbies, retail and educational centers. The design of “The Taiwan Tower” also won an award at he Taiwan Tower Conceptual Design International Competition.
