The Sustainable Spritz Eliminates the Need for Single-Use Glasses

There's an urgent need to reduce waste in the beverage industry, and The Sustainable Spritz is touted as an "ultra low-waste" spritz that will play a part in just this. The London Essence Co teamed up with Avallen Calvados and spirits distribution system EcoSpirits to make this project possible, and it pairs London Essence’s White Peach & Jasmine Crafted Soda with the Freshly Infused dispense system.

This first-of-its-kind dispensing system uses patented micro-dosing technology to infuse freshly distilled botanicals into carbonated, chilled tonic water so that consumers benefit from a fresh serve. Additionally, this innovation eliminates the need for single-use glass and other packaging associated with it.

"This new serve, which in time I hope will become as well-known as a Margarita or Daiquiri, is the answer to anyone who wants a sustainable cocktail that tastes amazing," says Avallen co-founder Tim Etherington-Judge.
