La-La Bras

This anti-radiation bustier was one of the featured items at the Beauty World Japan exhibition taking place in Tokyo this week. The La-La is a tourmaline-embedded bra/girdle whose purpose is to neutralize harmful radiation emissions from cell phones and improve a woman's bad moods (PMS-related?) by emitting fields of negative ions. Tourmaline is a crystal mineral compound that is supposed to possess some obscure health-related beneficial properties.

Tourmaline has never been proven, as far as I know, to possess any medicinal or health-related benefits so this "miracle bra" is more science fiction than anything else.

Tin foil hat or snake oil? Any choice is a good choice.
