The Blind Booth Doesn’t Let People See How Much Money They are Donating

Advertising agency Y & R has come up with a heartwarming tactic that allows people to donate extra money called ‘The Blind Booth.’ The booth is essentially a pitch-black room with a donation box inside. Upon entering, donators can not see anything, thus they will blindly fork-out whatever bills they grab out of their wallets.

Raising money can be a difficult task, because most of the time people struggle watching their large bills escape from their wallets. In turn, they will opt to give loose change instead. Of course, loose change is better than nothing, but the agency wanted to try and get people to "donate with their hearts not their eyes."

The booth was an effort to raise funds for the José Antonio Pardo Foundation For Blind Children.
