All of the objects used in this collection are utterly forgettable every other day of one's life, but with the release of The Beauty of Common, Gökçebag shows anything can be memorable if you look at it the right way. Gökçebag uses mundane, everyday objects in this collection like rolls of toilet paper, brooms, an umbrella and clocks.
One of the standout pieces is one cleverly called Times Square. Using eight standard wall clocks without numbers on the faces, Gökçebag arranged the hands as to create a square when they sit next to the other clocks. The resulting image is a visual illusion that turns circular clocks into one geometrically perfect square.
