The 'Basquiat Be@rbrick' Comes in Three Different Sizes

Last year the MediCom Toy company announced that it would be collaborating with artist Jean-Michael Basquiat's estate to launch the Basquiat Be@rbrick collectible. Jean-Michael Basquiat is world renowned for his multi-colored commentary on societal dichotomies during the 70s and 80s. Initially noticed for his graffiti work, the artist created a style that incorporates neo-expressionist undertones with a certain form of primitivism.

The Basquiat Be@rbrick will be the latest in the line of MediCom's collectible toys. The product description promotes the artist's famous statement "believe it or not, I can actually draw," while the figure itself comes in sizes of 100%, 400% and 1000%. Each of the anthropomorphized bears boast the same painting design, but in variety of layouts, making the bears ever so slightly different from one another.
