We’ve seen those cool projection games in movie theaters that project soccer fields onto the floor of the theater and you kick a virtual ball around.

Okay, maybe you haven’t.

Nevertheless, now interactive art is being taken a step further with the Tenori Pop Project by providing interaction between projected images and the people manipulating those images. It’s done by using a combination of projection and digital cameras that can follow the user.

Picture this: I could have a virtual caterpillar on my hand, walk over to you and as my hand touched yours, the caterpillar would walk over to your hand and turn into a butterfly.
