Tourism London Unveils the World's Tallest Solar Tree

Tourism London has laid claim to the title, at least for now, of having the world's tallest solar tree. Tourism London recently "planted" the 22-foot tall tree which can generate 10,000kw hours of power per year.

The world's tallest solar tree will generate enough power in 20 years time to cover its costs, which wouldn't sound too great to me if I was a taxpayer who had contributed to the project's funding. Still, the tree is a symbol of London's dedication to solar power and will hopefully lead to more solar trees all over the country.
