Even though it's made from anodized aluminum and lacquered wood, the bundle of posts that makes up the seat of this piece provides enough of a stable surface to keep the sitter from slipping in.

The T 173 Bench is composed like its single-seater circular counterpart, but its plan is instead the union of three adjoined squares in series. Both pieces are composed of pink-topped silver pillars which vary a great deal in diameter. But despite the quirky visual impression left by the bench and the T 36 Stool by Paolo Giordano, both maintain a clean contemporary aesthetic and a classic cross-sectional symmetry.
