The Speedo Shine is a swim tracker that was designed in a collaboration between Misfit and Speedo and the second edition will have more features than the last.
The Speedo Shine 2 has the same features as the original with its waterproof design and swim stroke and lap-counting technology. Its updated features include a vibration motor and multicolored lights that "enable multi-faceted user feedback," a countdown timer, text and call notifications and "Misfit Link compatibility" -- giving it the ability to act as a musical remote, "selfie trigger", or to enable smart home systems.
As this swim tracker is the first device that specifically targets swimmers, its new and updated features will likely make this product very popular.
