Minimalist Sustainable Womenswear

Outerknown Expands to the Female Market with New Collection

Eco-conscious fashion brand Outerknown is launching a sustainable womenswear collection in 2019. The styles will be offered in a diverse price range — between $48 USD and $288 USD, and the silhouettes will boast a minimalist, timeless and versatile aesthetic that embraces both style and function.

Outerknown's sustainable womenswear line will consist of a total of 17 styles and the fabrics will be "made of 100% benefit fibers, meaning organic, recycled, and/or regenerated textiles." In addition, consumers can rest at ease as the brand is also part of the Fair Labor Association.

The newly launched sustainable womenswear collection is another testimonial that in terms of shopping, Millennials are taking the eco-conscious route. These tendencies are strengthened with surveys like Nielsen's which reveal that 73% of Millennials are willing to spend more money on sustainable offerings.
