Telmont Unveils Plans to Produce Bottle in Different Green Shades

Champagne Telmont announces its intent to develop sustainable wine bottle designs. The brand recently revealed its plans to produce 193,000 wine bottles in a variety of green shades as part of its sustainability strategy. This initiative falls under the 'In the Name of Mother Nature' project and aligns with Telmont's goal to become a climate-positive producer by 2030 and net carbon-positive by 2050.

The sustainable wine bottles utilize glass produced during the transition between different shades. Collaborating with Verallia, Telmont's glass packaging endeavor not only saves energy and resources but also reflects its commitment to innovation. The lightweight eco-friendly bottles weigh 800 grams and maintain the necessary durability to withstand gas pressure.

Telmont's president, Ludovic du Plessis, emphasizes the symbolic significance of the 193,000 shades of green: "Every shade of green is a symbol of our commitment to the environment. We’re not just changing the color of our bottles, we’re trying to transform the wine industry, one shade at a time. In the Name of Mother Nature!"
