Sustainable Luxury Bags

Stella McCartney's Bags are Made with Aquafil's 100% Regenerated Nylon

As a leader in sustainable luxury, Stella McCartney created a Falabella GO bag collection for the Fall 2017 season using Aquafil's regenerated ECONYL yarn, which is comprised of ocean waste. As such, it is noted that "every 10,000 tons of ECONYL produced saves [70,000] barrels of crude oil by avoiding extraction." As well as giving new life to used fishing nets, the material makes it possible for the waste to be infinitely regenerated.

The versatile all-black bags in the collection include portable cosmetics cases and travel duffles, each of which boasts a high level of quality and performance features.

Speedo, adidas and Volcom are some of the other forward-thinking brands that have created apparel and accessory lines with Aquafil's innovative ECONYL material as a means of exploring more sustainable production methods for the future.
