The Upcoming Summerhill Game Surrounds a Calm Gameplay

The upcoming Summerhill game is by the same team that created Alto's Adventure and the graphics are reminiscent of the Alto series as well. The game is fueled by a 'folk-inspired' audio soundtrack and when it comes to the gameplay part of the design, the dev ensures that it is a "fluid herding-based gameplay" and "gentle problem-solving." It also follows a narrative that peels back the mystery that surrounds the landscape and its dark past.

Players will be herding and corralling sheep throughout with the help of their dogs whilst also collecting and developing more skills to take on increasingly difficult puzzles. The narrative that follows is without words but with "themes of duty, companionship, and morality." Land & Sea Founder Harry Nesbitt explains that "Summerhill is an entirely new IP that aims to build on the themes that we care about most as a studio. In many ways, sheep herding is in our DNA and we really wanted to do justice to this timeless tradition and tell a story that could only be told in this way."
