Graff artists are going to love the new Street Tag app from Channel 4. Street Tag is an iPhone app that lets you virtually tag any building in the world. The tagged buildings can then be geo-tagged and shared with friends using the app or by more traditional means such as through Facebook, Twitter or email.
The app has an extensive set of options designed to make it seem as realistic as possible. Artists can choose from a wide palette of colors and can also control how big and wet their lines are. The early results are impressive, with some of the sample pieces of graff provided by Channel 4 looking as good as the real deal. The app is out now in the iTunes app store and currently sells for the artist-friendly price of free.
