Aggregated Approval Apps

Starlike Combines Likes from All Social Networks into a Single App

Even if you just stick to using some of the most major social networks—Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Vine—it can be difficult to keep up with what friends and influencers are 'liking.' Enter Starlike, an app from AOL Alpha that serves as a personalized newsfeed that helps to curate content from across multiple social networks.

The app has users log in through social networks like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and choose friends to follow. Items that are liked and saved through Starlike also are applied to the social networks, turning this app into a handy place to browse through only the best of the best of a social feed. Starlike Co-Director Peter Rojas describes: "We wanted to build something that made it easy to see what your friends were faving."
