Breakfast for Trekkies

Kellogg Star Trek Eggo Waffles are Better than French Toast

I'm no Trekkie by any means, but these Star Trek Waffles make me want Scotty to beam me to the nearest kitchen. I stared at them for a good while, and at first found it hard to believe Kellogg would come out with something this geeky -- and elaborately geeky, at that -- to promote a flick, but it looks like the Star Trek Eggo Waffles are legit.

The down side is that this geektastic breakfast novelty probably can't be found in the frozen casings of groc stores anymore as they were available as a limited edition around March 2009 to hype the new flick. Regardless, I'm happy I can enjoy these Star Trek Eggo Waffles, even without syrup.
