Commemorative Wooden Spray Cans

This Medicom Wood Spray Can Celebrates NYC Street Artist Stash

This wooden spray can commemorates the work of legendary New York street artist Stash.

Stash started painting graffiti in New York City in the early 80s. A pivotal figure of the East Village scene of that period, Stash exhibited canvases alongside pop art pioneers such as Jean-Michel Basquiat starting at the early age of 17. While many of his contemporaries turned to gallery art, Stash continued working on the subway system until 1987. In the late 1990s, he began collaborating on street art-inspired fashion with the likes of Nike and Bathing Ape.

These wooden spray cans are a reminder of the iconic nature of Stash's work. Created by Japanese toy company Medicom, they retail at $580 per decorative spray can.
