Tracking progress on your exercise routine can now be done through your eyes thanks to the high-tech Sportiiiis shades.
The Sportiiiis sunglasses allow athletes to keep track of their workout without having to have to constantly glance at a wristwatch of clock. The idea is to provide information through seven multi-colored LED positioned just outside the the primary visual plane. For example, if a runner/cyclist's heart rate reaches the target zone, the lights go green. If the light turns red, it means that the individual is working too hard and needs to slow down. Users will also be able to configure the LEDs and, "instruct the unit to respond to input from any ANT+ device using Mac, PC or smartphone software," according to Gizmag. The Sportiiiis is also waterproof and features an audible coach.
