Convertible Stools

Soslan Naniev's Chair-Stool Goes from Back to Backless in No Time Flat

Soslan Naniev has just made my list of brilliant designers wit his Chair-Stool. While the name is somewhat lacking in the creativity department, the concept is great as it is a padded stool that has the ability to become a chair.

The Chair-Stool was designed as a great compromise between those who prefer to sit on seats without backs and those who seats with both backs and armrests. The design is incredibly simple with the pad of the stool concealing a slim back and arm rests when folded down.

The Chair-Stool is more functional than flashy which is much appreciated. Hopefully the world will be able to get over its differences regarding seating and come together to turn Soslan Naniev's concept into a reality.
