HiBAR Boasts Design-Friendly Solid Shampoo and Conditioner

In an attempt to eliminate the excessive use of plastics and to overall revolutionize the industry in general, HiBAR launches a product range that boasts an innovative formula for solid shampoo and conditioner. Werner Design Werks, which is a design agency based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, was commissioned to develop the packaging identity, as well as the shape of the product.

HiBAR’s vision for its solid shampoo and conditioner was to eliminate the use of water and therefore, of plastic for packaging. As a result, the company kills two birds with one stone. The design of the packs is wedged and made of paper, which entails that it will have less impact on the environment. The information about each bar is presented in a minimalist and uniform way on the front, as well, allowing consumers to be better informed about their choice, without struggling too much to find accurate product descriptions.
