The 'SmarTuk' Helps Street Vendors Set Up Shop Anywhere

Tuk-tuks are a common sight in the streets of Cambodia, but the conceptual 'SmarTuk' vehicle aims to change up what the can do for local street vendors.

The vehicle sports a modular design that can be outfitted with all a proprietor needs to set up shop anywhere to sell food, drink or wares. Seating equipment could also be kept within to create an impromptu roadside cafe, while the integrated tracking device can be used by the proprietor to let patrons know where they are via the app to increase business.

The conceptual 'SmarTuk' vehicle is the design work of Vincent Chan and also features an electric build to eliminate emission along with water resistance for enhanced protection against common flooding in the country.
