In order to develop smart cruise control, the company used machine learning. The system is titled Smart Cruise Control or SCC-ML, and it is able to make changes based on a few different aspects. This includes the distance a driver keeps between a vehicle, as well as acceleration and changes in traffic. However, Hyundai also indicates that the SCC-ML system will not replicate bad driving habits.
