Saint Laurent Debutes Its Skinny Spring 2013 Collection

Yves Saint Laurent has changed its name to Saint Laurent Paris, changed creative directors, and now introduces its newest line of denim with the Skinny Spring 2013 lookbook. Hedi Slimane is changing the coveted French brand one step at a time, and the new denim line consists of structured skinny denim gear in an array of different washes.

Slimane has brought part of his design from the Saint Laurent Paris Spring 2013 runway into the new Skinny Spring 2013 line. Creating bohemian-inspired denim to match the cowboy ideology behind cambray threads, the beach side appeal of the lookbook gives the line a more casual appeal compared to the brand's couture line. The model, Gryphon O'Shea, poses in perfect Canadian tuxedo ensembles as the creative director of YSL shoots each photo.
