The container has been dubbed the "next step" according to the company. The 1.5 ounce jars are almost exact replicas of the bigger bottles, with the exception of Sir Kensington’s face on them. The idea, according to the company, was to "create a compelling option for premium hotels, restaurants, and caterers to offer their customers in single-serve sizes. Though this exists in jams, jellies, and mustards, we simply didn’t think it existed with ketchup."
Sir Kensington’s Gourmet Scooping Ketchup individual containers may signify a change in the world of ketchup packaging. Perhaps other ketchup brands will follow suit, changing the image of this delicious tomato condiment.
