This IPA Uses Only 'Citra' Hops For a Citrus-Centric Character

R&D Brewing, a proudly Raleigh, North Carolina-based brewery that focuses on award-winning brews of different varieties, has taken the step of launching the release of its latest delicious seasonal brew in the form of 'Kill it with Citra,' a hazy IPA whose name gives away the fact that it is brewed solely with Citra hops.

It's no surprise that the use of only Citra hop varieties means results in the 'Kill it with Citra' hazy IPA having a wonderfully citrus palate and tropically-laced fruit aromas, not to mention a hoppy scent that hints at the character of the beer. Coming in at 6.5 percent ABV, this hazy IPA is available for purchase in 16-ounce cans.

"Kill it with Citra is our ode to the beloved Citra hop," said Mark Theisen, director of brewing operations at R&D Brewing. "We really wanted to showcase the flavor profile of Citra in this beer, and we think we’ve nailed it with this one."
