Festive Christmas Show Openings

The Latest Simpsons Couch Gag Arrives in Time for Christmas

The Simpsons all new Christmas episode entitled ‘White Christmas Blues’ FOX has unveiled the Christmas-themed Simpsons couch gag that is set to premier with the episode as an early Christmas present to us.

The opening for The Simpsons episode plays out in the traditional fashion but has been reskinned to make Springfield look like the North Pole and for the residents to look like Christmas elves and other mythological winter creatures. The nuclear power plant is made to look like Santa’s workshop with Homer as an elf working on toys and Bart is in school writing "I will not call my teacher Prancer and Vixen" on the chalkboard.

The Simpsons couch gags have been becoming increasingly elaborate as of late, just this Halloween they unveiled an equally extravagant couch gag made by director Guillermo del Toro. I can’t wait to see the Simpsons couch gag for St. Patrick’s Day.
