Shopify Credit is a Business Card Exclusively for Merchants

Shopify Credit has been launched as a business credit card from the eCommerce brand exclusively for merchants to help them seamlessly make payments according to their needs. The credit card is powered by Stripe and issued by the Celtic bank, and keeps the entrepreneur front of mind to help them make purchases without having to worry about fees, foreign transaction fees or late payment fees. The card comes as part of the brand's latest move to toe the line between commerce and fintech, and will also provide 3% cash back on the top spend category with 1% on remaining categories.

President Haley Finkelstein spoke on Shopify Credit to TechCrunch saying, "We designed Credit with the reality of an entrepreneur in mind. We recognized that having smooth cash flow is important for business owners, and as a business matures, entrepreneurs may find themselves looking for a credit line to maximize their working capital for expected (and unexpected) expenses."
