Serene Shipping Boxes

This Shipping Box Concept Takes Inspiration from the Movement of Cloth

The Peplo Packaging System is a molded pulp shipping box designed by Anna Gialluca. Rather than having sharp corners, the box has a gentle, rounded shape, which was inspired by the movement of fabric. This smooth movement is evoked in the diagonal cut through the packaging, which gives the sense that the top is gliding over the bottom box when opened, almost like a fine silk would do. Developed with e-commerce in mind, receiving these boxes would ensure that the first physical contact with the product is a positive one.

The three different sizes in the series are more or less alike, with minimal designs that are able to accommodate items of varying sizes. Developed with a fashion brand in mind, the smallest box is ideal for transporting accessories, while the largest box size is suited for coats.
