The She Matters App Caters to the Health Needs of Black Women

Tech founder, Jade Kearney, developed the She Matters app alongside its digital platform to help Black women address and resolve various health problems. The platform was designed after Kearney sought help throughout her own postpartum experience and realized how few therapists had been trained to help Black women.

She Matters is a multifaceted platform that addresses Black women's health problems. To provide the best care to patients, the platform offers a community of therapists who have been trained in a 12-week certification program to gear their therapy methods towards cultural relevance. The company currently has 180 trained therapists and another 700 on a waiting list. Women looking for therapy can instantly sign up to the platform and connect with one of the qualified specialists.
