Advanced Ordering QSR Apps

The Shake Shack App Lets Consumers Order Early and Skip the Line

The new Shake Shack app offers a way for diners to get their meal without having to stand around in line for even a minute. With the app, anyone craving a Shake Shack burger, hotdog, shake, or anything else on the menu can place an order remotely and the closest restaurant will start cooking it. Diners can thus walk in and grab their order immediately, skipping the line.

When placing an order on the Shake Shack app, users have the option to select a time for that order to be completed. When the order is completed, the restaurant sends a text to the user to let them know.

The Shake Shack app isn't an entirely new idea, as Shake Shack had a pilot program running at a single restaurant in Manhattan. This is the first time the app has been available across the entire US, however.
