A new senior dating site is like Tinder, but targeted at mature adults over the age of 55. Stitch is an online dating service that focuses on companionship, rather than hookups and casual dating.
The concept comes from Australian entrepreneur Andrew Dowling, who saw an opportunity within the 50 and up demographic. Whether users are looking for someone to share a meal with or for love and romance, lots of options are available. The focus on intentions rather than appearance also sets the senior dating site apart from others.
After running closed trials, Stitch is now accepting registrations in a variety of locations and will continue to be free for the time being. Dowling also believes in treating users like people, rather than cogs in a matchmaking algorithm.
