The Selfridges Beauty Workshop Windows by Studio XAG allow the retailer’s visitors to experience its product in a whimsical way. The personality-filled display features paper-made forms ranging from oversized pills to nail polishes and lipsticks.
While the beauty items take over shop windows, mannequins seem to shrink amongst their exaggerated backdrop. Created in celebration of the high-end shop’s new beauty department, the Selfridges Beauty Workshop Windows are both fun and sustainably designed.
Using only paper and cardboard, the display was mounted with the use of over 500 glue sticks and can easily be recycled after its use. Studio XAG’s Gemma Ruse and a team of paper engineers created the oversized display which took three weeks to complete, creating a memorable shopping experience filled with humor and imagination.
