Karl Lagerfeld Channels Creative Vision for Cruise 2010 Show

Karl Lagerfeld chose Venice for the next Chanel Cruise Fashion Show. The idea was inspired by Coco Chanel’s own visit to Venice in the summer of 1920 when she jetted there to find inspiration for, and promote her beach pajamas.

The short film below shows Lagerfeld's exquisite eye for fashion and cinema. At the Grand Hotel Excelsior Lido Resort in Venice, model Lara Stone struck seductive poses during wardrobe fittings. The video really lets you feel like you're witnessing the shoot as it includes beautiful mood music, a gorgeous male model and of course, King Karl's voice instructing the model. It's unique, stylish, sexy, young, elegant and fresh; it’s Chanel!

As a bonus, I added a beautiful black-and-white images of Venice via Flickr's Womanish.
