Disney inspires and influences people around the world with vastly different lives and interests, but a Scrooge McDuck heavy metal album is not a fusion one would ever consider. But that is just what the keyboardist of Finnish symphonic metal superstars Nightwish is planning on doing.
Tuomas Holopainen (who is no stranger to Disney-infused music) is set to produce a solo album inspired by the graphic novel The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck by Don Rosa, who is also providing the artwork for the album.
Due out in April of 2014, the album will be heavily folk and soundtrack influenced, with a slew of guest musicians and vocalists. The album will have one single entitled 'A Lifetime of Adventure,' which will also come with a music video,
