Schnuck Markets Inc. will Start Using Tennant Co.'s Robots

Schnuck Markets Inc. has announced that it will be utilizing robotic scrubbers from Tennant Co. in a bid to help reduce the need for employees to perform the manual work, while also making retail locations easier to manage.

The launch will see the robotic equipment powered by improved software from Brain Corp to deliver an enhanced user experience and better reporting capabilities for administrators to appreciate. Schnucks is set to have the autonomous robotic cleaners in more than half of its stores by the end of the year.

Senior Director Store Operations Support Kim Anderson spoke on the new initiative at Schnuck Markets Inc. saying, "These new robotic scrubbers will enhance cleaning performance, while giving valuable time back to teammates so they can spend more time doing what is most important: serving our customers. Robotics and technology are important tools for helping us improve in-store experiences and achieve our customer-first values."
