Kelly Lee Owens and Hæckels' Scent 08 is a New Way to Experience Scent

Hæckels collaborated with Welsh electronic musician Kelly Lee Owens to "bottle eight fragments of memory to act as a therapy when worn" and the result is Scent 08. This new way of designing perfumes and experiencing scent is aromatherapeutic and it promises to transport wearers to somewhere else.

The brand's first new scent in five years is a nostalgic one that has notes of vetiver, petrichor and rose. These mindfully chosen scents allow the mind to wander in search of familiar associations. While vetiver is a grass that's known to support emotional well-being, petrichor channels the smell of wet earth after the rain.

This unconventional fragrance also incorporates uplifting eucalyptus, calming lavender, oud, wild heather and comforting coffee.
