Food-Cradling Takeout Packages

Sandra Ferreyro Designs a Mess-Free Takeaway Bag

Design student Sandra Ferreyro was challenged to craft an innovative takeout container for Spain's bustling restaurant industry. Ferreyro created Taco Tota -- a fresh and fast Mexican food joint that boasts a function disaster-proof takeaway package.

Due to the tricky construction of the beloved taco, Ferreyro had to find a way to keep the tasty tidbits vertical while in transit. She created an accordion design in the centre of the package with compartments designed to cradle the tacos on their journey. The sides of the package fold up to form a handle, perfect for convenient, no-mess carrying. Trying to avoid stereotypes at all costs, Sandra Ferreyro choose a monochrome wood plank design to adorn the package and based the logo off of the Mexican peso.

The Taco Tota takeaway package will allow you to cart your fiesta home without making a sloppy mess.
