The San Francisco Patient and Resource Center is a Pothead's Dream

The San Francisco Patient and Resource Center, better known as SPARC, is a legal 'Marijuana Buyer's Club' located in the heart of hippie central, California. Most people associate marijuana usage with trashy people and gang members, but one look at the San Francisco Patient and Resource Center and you will think this is a highly-chic designer plant store or science lab.

SPARC is free to enter, although you will need a medical note from a doctor before even being allowed to purchase any of the goods. The styling is a mixture of steel fixtures and minimalist wood furniture. It presents a relaxed, refined and charming environment.

SPARC was also awarded as the winner of the 19th Annual Will Ching Design Competition; one look at the pictures, and it's easy to see why.
