Sacred Serve Introduces 100% Recyclable Ice Cream Cartons

Plant-based gelato brand Sacred Serve has announced the launch of the world's very first 100% plastic-free, fully recyclable, and 100% compostable ice cream pints. What's more, the new planet-friendly packaging comes in a one-of-a-kind lid-free format.

Up until now, there have been virtually zero 100% recyclable and 100% compostable ice cream packaging solutions. In fact, most "eco-friendly" packaging within the frozen food aisle contains a specific plastic coating that renders it unrecyclable, even when delivered in a paper-based format.

"Packaging has been a major problem for the frozen set as a whole, and we’re thrilled to introduce a solution in a readily adoptable format to help push the entire category forward. We are proud to be planet-based inside and out," said Kailey Donewald, founder of Sacred Serve.
