Motorcycle accessories brand Velomacchi teamed up with Yamaha Motorcycles to create the Rural Racer Project -- a custom bike that shows the brands' shared interest in motorcycle technology, innovation and heritage. The team used the traditional XSR700 platform as the base to create a motorcycle that can be used to commute to work or explore and escape. With a classic, old-school design, this bike features high-tech finishes including facial recognition ignition, smartphone connectivity and even a drone riding platform.
This new motorcycle is set to be released at the Handbuilt show in Austin, Texas this upcoming April. The new Rural Racer Project has a tuned suspension system, to ensure the bike is ready for everything from trails to highways.
