Monolithic Light Torches

The Royalty X21 is the Largest Flashlight in the World

The Royalty X21 was released a handful of weeks ago, and (at the time) could be considered among the most powerful flashlight with its 120 lumen capacity.

Partly for curiosity's sake, but chiefly for publicity, German design firm LED Lenser built a colossal version of the Royalty X21 and won the company a Guinness World Record in the process. The larger-than-life flashlight is on showcase in Solingen, Germany and clocks in at 13 feet and 176 pounds. The shocking part of the marketing model is its light intensity: 100,000 lumens. That's enough focused energy to start a small fire! The monolithic X21 is comprised of solid aluminum and has been jammed full with 19 LED lamps. Even on battery power (yep, it's battery-powered), LED Lenser explains that the device could pump out a steady 30,000 lumens! Next time I lose my keys under my bed, I'll have to borrow the giant Royalty torch.
