I think of The Flintstones when it comes to rock designs. But we've come a long way in architectural design and there's more to it than a life inside a rock. Rock elements inspired some people to create immaculate designs. From volcano hotels to mountain cave homes, rock is a preferred earth element that some people find bold and beautiful in their rocky enclaves.
There's a school in southwest China's Guizhou province that is completely set in a vast cave and these kids are not bewildered at all. Now that's something different. On the other hand, a hotel that features a different kind of hospitality: volcano hotel. It's called the Magic Mountain Lodge and this hotel in Chile is rocky but not risky. It's lava-less so there's no worries about being melted away.
