Facebook's Creator Studio Now Offers a 'Rights Manager for Images'

To make it easier for creatives to ensure their work is properly credited through online sharing, Facebook launched a 'Rights Manager for Images' through its Creator Studio platform.

To use the tool, photographers, influencers, and others who create and share original content can upload their images along with a CSV file that includes metadata to it, which will help them locate where their work has been used. The tool will scan both Facebook pages and Instagram profiles, and then generate a list for the original publisher. From there, creators can choose to monitor their image use, add a credit to it, or block its use by issuing a takedown request.

Facebook's Rights Manager can also be used for video content, which works similarly to prevent the spread of copyrighted material through social media platforms.
