Urban Thrill Ride Concepts

This Thrill Ride Will Work to Generate Extra Revenue for New York City

This thrill ride concept will do more than add yet another structure to the maze of architecture in New York City.

Designed by developer Brooklyn Capital Partners, this proposal will help to generate revenue for public services other than state-funded developments. The thrill ride concept, called 'The Halo,' will be 1200 feet high and will have "gondolas flying down the tracks at up to a hundred miles an hour." The company believes that the ride will attract millions of people each year and generate as much as $38 million a year to distribute among cash-strapped areas of the city.

Not only does this design proposal improve the New York City skyline, but it offers another tourist location while simultaneously funding improvements in the rest of the city.
