Scent-Emitting Timepieces

The Scent Rhythm Watch Tells Time by Emitting Specific Fragrances

In the increasing movement towards designs that are integrated with technology, Boston born designer Aisen Caro Chacin has created The Scent Rhythm Watch that aims to revolutionize the way we read and view watches.

Chacin cleverly releases a series of specific scents that alert the wearer of the different phases in a day. The innovative watch releases fragrances in a timely manner that aims to be in tune with the human body's circadian cycle. The different phases correspond to different phases like being active, in a state of relaxation, sleep and waking up.

The fragrance-based watch has four bulbs of glass that each contain a specific fragrance. The scents are emitted at a specific time during the day, indicating the various phases like a coffee scent for waking up in the mornings.

The watch uses a vapor releasing machine using ultrasonic vibrations and a piezoelectric atomizer.
