Virtual Table Animations

The Republic of Fritz Hansen Brought a Table to Life at Milan Design Week

To show off Jaime Hayón's new Analog table at Milan Design Week 2014, the Republic of Fritz Hansen presented it in a unique and visually interesting way, which included an animated video projected on top of the table, showing people using the table in different scenarios.

With the video, the Analog table comes to life, showing it first being meticulously set with plates, candles and name cards. Then, the guests arrive, oysters are served and as the drinks continue to pour, the party really gets started and one dinner guest even gets up on top of the table.

Since tables are typically presented in a very static manner and it's up to you to imagine how the furniture piece would fit into your life, this is a fun and brilliant way to show all of its potential.
