This Dual-Space Design is Functional and Easy on the Eyes

Oppenheim Architecture has renovated a historical farmhouse into a stunning residence and workspace. Half of the residence is utilized as a workspace and the other half is for living. The exterior remains very ‘farmhouse’ while the interior has been extremely modernized. The most notable feature on his home is the severely slanting roofs – especially on the upper floors. The three-storey house is organized with bedrooms on the basement and upper floors, and the living areas on ground level.

The design was structured to be very energy efficient, and the house features additions like solar panels and sustainable materials. The house manages to be elegant and traditional, yet still fresh and modern. This beautiful home should serve as inspiration for anyone who wants to integrate their living and working spaces into one.
