Retro-Inspired Camera Remotes

These Remote Shutters for Phones Resemble Old Film Gadgets

Japanese company 'Gizmon' created wireless remote shutters that can control a smartphone's camera from up to 30 feet away. These remotes come in multiple designs that are disguised as old film photography devices using new-age Bluetooth technology. The remote shutters work for both iOS as well as Android devices and have a battery that can last for 30,000 pictures when fully charged.

The retro designs that these gizmos come in resemble old 35 mm film canisters or TLR cameras. The first comes as a wireless remote as well as a plug-in USB controller that comes in blue, green and red. Meanwhile, the latter TLR design is only available as the wireless remote shutter and is offered in pink, blue, black and brown.
