New Balance introduces a new design iteration to the 57/40 sneaker model naming it the Refined Future sneaker. The sneaker retains its neutral elements, keeping an off-white colorway throughout most of the sneaker. It draws inspiration from the 2002R series and the Sea Salt and Munsell white palette.
The upper is made from suede materials around the shoe sections of the ankle collar, the tongue area, and the nylon toe box. The N logo on the side of the shoe seamlessly blends into the quarter due to the sandy beige tone that is applied with mesh materials as a very subtle contrast to the rest of the shoe. Midnight blue is applied at the rubber mold and branding can be found at the heel counter.
